New photographs reveal the state-of-the-art interior design onboard the 36.8-metre Ocean King yacht Vãyus. The yacht is part of the shipbuilder’s flagship model, the Ducale 120, which will be showcased at the upcoming 2023 Cannes Yachting Festival.

The entirety of the yacht was crafted at the Ocean King shipyard in Chioggia, Venice, along with interior and exterior design by VYD Studio and naval architecture by Ginton Naval Architects and InNaveSuperYacht Times takes a closer look onboard where a “fusion of advanced engineering and exquisite Italian craftsmanship” interplay.

Inside, the interiors exude modern elegance, characterised by a sophisticated layering of diverse materials such as suede, linen, and glossy veneer furnishings. The result is an expansive, timeless space awash in grey and oat tones for a tranquil ambience. Artisanal craftsmanship is present throughout the yacht, with even the staircase replicating a work of art created using custom glass; the spiral feature features strategic spotlighting and high-quality upholstery.

Entering the main saloon, the adopted muted colour scheme, along with vast full-height windows, enables the panoramic view to take centre stage. A large L-shaped sofa accounts for much of the space, with a curved rectangular dining table with seating for all guests onboard. A highlight of the area is the functional ability to open the full-height windows onto the side walkways for a sublime experience that seamlessly integrates the indoor and outdoor spaces.

The 334 GT yacht can accommodate up to 10 guests across five guest suites. The first, towards the bow on the main deck, is the full-beam owner’s suite which features ample window space and decorative lightly-hued wooden accents. Soft-to-touch cream fabricated walls compliment the large floating king-size bed and designer furnishings. A marble-adorned ensuite and a versatile vanity-turned-office space overlooking unobstructed open water views add additional privacy for the owner when onboard.

The guest accommodations comprise two VIP suites and two twin staterooms. Each suite showcases the VYD Studio signature, presented in a contemporary style; even the smallest details are highlighted via strip lighting, which elevates the space to feel comforting and atmospheric. Other notable features include his and her sinks in the ensuites and fabricated luxurious decorative wall coverings.

Outdoors, one of the standout prizes onboard Vãyus, is her versatile deck spaces. The deck surfaces provide uninterrupted panoramic views of the water, extending from bow to stern. A key highlight of the Ducale 120 model is the ability to house two swimming pools: a seawater pool in the expansive beach area aft and a heated freshwater pool on the sun deck.

On the upper deck, lightly-colored wooden panels have been used to evoke an airy, modern space ideal for al fresco dining, sunbathing and casual drinks. Circular white sun loungers of the highest standards gather around marble tables for the ultimate luxurious experience. A prominent guest bar, dining table set up for ten, and another shaded sitting area allow guests to unwind in the natural elements while indulging in the home comforts of the interior.

True to its explorer DNA, the Ducale 120 model is powered by twin industrial-grade MAN engines, giving her a top speed of 14 knots.

According to SYT iQOcean King has two yachts inbuild, including the flagship yacht Doge 400.
