The Venice Boat Show is once again returning to the historic Arsenale of Venice from May 31 to June 4. The show is one of the leading exhibitions dedicated to the boating industry in the area and will feature over 220 exhibitors and 300 vessels. We take a look at everything happening at the fourth edition of the Venice Boat Show where representatives from the SuperYacht Times team will also be in attendance.
The Venice Boat Show is held in the Arsenale of Venice, a symbol of the centuries-old military domination of the Serenissima Republic of Venice and the beating heart of its naval industry. The show is promoted by the City of Venice through Vela Spa, in collaboration with the Italian Navy.
The exhibition spans 55,000 square-metres and is spread across the water basin, with 30,000 square-metres of outdoor exhibition space, 5,000 square-metres of indoor space and over 1,100 linear-metres of piers. With over 230 moorings dedicated to superyachts, sailing yachts and various other types of boats, there will be the opportunity to explore a wide range of vessels during the show.
Exhibitors
This year’s Venice Boat Show will see over 220 exhibitors from all corners of the world visiting the Arsenale. Some of the biggest industry professionals will be attending including, Azimut Yachts, Ferretti, Fincantieri, Pantaenius, Nautor Swan, Sanlorenzo, Sunseeker and Wider Yachts.
Yachts attending and world premieres
The Venice Boat Show will be welcoming yachts from far and wide, as well as many world premieres. Below is SYT’s list of yachts to look out for while attending this year’s show:
Ocean King Ducale 120 | Ocean King | 36.8-metres
Designed in Venice, the 36.8-metre Ocean King Ducale 120 motor yacht will be making her Italian premiere. The steel explorer yacht features an Italian pedigree DNA with interior and exterior design by VYD Studio, and naval architecture penned by InNave.
The Ocean King Ducale 120features two swimming pools; a rare feature on vessels her size, as well as an interior volume of 334 GT. She is able to accommodate up to 12 guests across a five stateroom layout, as well as a crew of seven between four cabins.
Pershing 9X | Pershing | 27.96-metres
The Pershing 9X has been designed in full by Fulvio de Simoni Yacht Design, which were responsible for her interior and exterior design, as well as her naval architecture. She features an ultra-modern exterior design and emulates the stylings often captured in luxury sports cars.
The 82 GT Pershing9X yacht offers accommodation for up to nine guests across four light and modern staterooms. She is also able to carry a crew of three across two cabins.
wallywhy150 | Wally | 24.06-metres
Making her debut at the Venice Boat Show 2023 is the all-new wallywhy150. The 24.06-metre motor yacht features exterior design and naval architecture by her builder Wally, with interior design by Studio Vallicelli Design.
Accommodation onboard the wallywhy150 includes a master stateroom located forward on the main deck which showcases 270-degree panoramic views and a stunning, grand “amphitheatre of the sea” design, thanks to her unusually high bow.
The 23.8-metre Arcadia motor yacht Sherpa 80 will be showcased at this year’s Venice Boat Show. The pocket-sized yacht offers a total of 220 square-metres of indoor and outdoor space, as well as a beam of 7-metres.
The Sherpa 80 features interior and exterior design by Hot Lab with naval architecture from her builder Arcadia Yachts. She features a four stateroom layout for up to eight guests, as well as crew accommodation for three.
Navetta 75 | Absolute Yachts | 22.82-metres
The 22.82-metre Navetta 75 yacht uses geometric shapes while embodying Absolute Yachts key design characteristics. She features sleek lines and glass parapets which help to enhance her connection with the sea.
The Navetta 75 offers a four stateroom layout for up to eight guests with a full-beam master suite on the bow, with two double and a twin stateroom on her lower deck.
| Azimut Yachts | 20.98-metres
The Azimut 68 yacht features a sophisticated design with multi-purpose exterior deck spaces. The Azimut 68 yacht offers the option of three main deck configurations to suit all onboard living styles.With a beam of 5.23-metres, the Azimut 68 is able to sleep up to eight guests across four staterooms, as well as a crew of two. She is equipped with twin Volvo engines which provide her with a top speed of 32 knots and a cruising speed of 27 knots.
Event details
The Venice Boat Show is a hub of entertainment and will feature meetings, presentations and specialised congresses, as well as art installations, guided tours and educational activities for children.
The event will also see water trials, trophies and sports regattas and an E-Village dedicated to electric boats participating in the E-Regatta.
